Thames Language Academy in association with Thames British School is organising Summer School for Year 2 – Year 6 children (6 to 11 years). Our teachers are native level speakers who are proud to offer outstanding English language support tailored to meet student individual needs. Our Summer Camp is designed to help students achieve English proficiency in their pursuit of academic excellence. The comprehensive program includes the involvement of professional staff for thematic sessions throughout the course, various trips and playtime.

Summer Camp at Thames British School

  • Focus on speaking skills/English speaking environment

    Our English courses combine a focus on natural English pronunciation with intensive speaking and listening practice to help students achieve English proficiency in their pursuit of academic excellence at our British International School.

  • Qualified and native level English teachers

    Our teachers are native level speakers of English from countries such as the UK, US, and Australia. They all have extensive experience in teaching English as a second language.

  • Convenient time and place

    The summer camp will be held at our first-rate Thames British School Mokotow Campus. It is a detached building situated in a pleasant location right next to a park (Pole Mokotowskie). Course dates: June 26-July 21, 2022. Monday to Friday, 9:00-15:00.

  • Small and relevant groups

    We ensure groups remain small as this helps us to identify individual needs, tailor instruction, and maximise learning. All groups will be organised according to their level of English and age.

Course details

  • Course structure

    Lessons will be held Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00. Each day encompasses three lessons of intensive English organised by language skill: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Other lessons focus on sporting achievement and skill development.

  • Oxford/Cambridge English programme

    Our courses are based on the Oxford and Cambridge English Language Learning Curriculum and are designed to empower learners to communicate confidently and effectively.

  • Group size

    Offline lessons (on-campus) in groups of up to 12 students. We ensure groups remain small as this helps us to identify individual needs, tailor instruction, and maximise learning.

  • Course dates

    1st week – 26.06 - 30.06
    2nd week – 03.07 - 07.07
    3rd week – 10.07 - 14.07
    4th week – 17.07 - 21.07

  • Level of proficiency

    We accept all children from full beginner to intermediate levels. Groups will be divided into A1, A2, and B1 levels and age.

  • Age of students

    We accept children aged 6 to 11. Groups will be divided accordingly.

Our Mokotow campus is located within walking distance of Metro Pole Mokotowskie. It is a detached building situated in a pleasant location right next to a park. It can be easily reached from Old Mokotów, Wyględów, Wierzbno and other areas in and around Mokotów.
