Thames Language Academy, in association with Thames British School, is offering intensive English courses for children aged 6 to 16. The goal is to fully immerse the children in an English speaking environment, where they can refresh and enhance their English Language skills for a fast start in the new academic year. Our teachers are native English speakers who are proud to offer outstanding English language support. Our English intensive courses help students achieve English proficiency, driving their academic excellence at Thames British School.

Intensive English for children aged 6 to 16 y. o.

  • English immersion. Focus on speaking and listening skills

    Our English courses combine a focus on natural English pronunciation with intensive speaking and listening practice to help students achieve English proficiency in their pursuit of academic excellence at our British International School.

  • Qualified and native level English teachers

    Our teachers are native level speakers of English from countries such as the UK, US, and Australia. They all have extensive experience in teaching English as a second language.

  • Convenient time and place

    The intensive English course will be held at our Thames British School Włochy Campus.
    Course dates: August 18 - 29, 2025
    Monday to Friday, 9:00-15:00.

  • Small and relevant groups

    We ensure groups remain small as this helps us to identify individual needs, tailor instruction, and maximise learning. All groups will be organised according to their level of English and age.

  • Course structure

    Lessons will be Monday to Friday:
    09:10 - 09:55 - lesson 1
    10:15 - 11:00 - lesson 2
    11:10 - 11:55 - lesson 3
    12:15 - 13:00 - lesson 4
    13:20 - 14:05 - lesson 5
    14:15 - 15:00 - lesson 6

  • Course programme

    Our courses are primarily based on the Cambridge and Oxford English language learning curriculum and are designed to help students improve their competence and confidence in English.

  • Group size

    Offline lessons (on-campus) in small groups of up to 12 students ensure personalised attention and a supportive learning environment.

  • Course dates

    August 18 - 22 - first week
    August 25 - 29 - second week

  • Level of proficiency

    We accept children from Beginner to Advanced levels. Groups will be divided accordingly.

  • Age of students

    We accept children aged 6 to 16 years old. Groups will be divided accordingly.
