WINTER CAMP AT THAMES BRITISH SCHOOL
Thames Language Academy in association with Thames British School is organising Winter Camp for Nursery – Year 8 children (3 to 13 years). At the Winter camp, children will enjoy a wide range of fun and educational activities, such as hands-on workshops, motor skill development tasks, sporting activities, arts and crafts, story-telling sessions, English lessons and playtime, all led by our team of professional and dedicated staff.

- Focus on speaking skills/English speaking environmentOur English courses combine a focus on natural English pronunciation with intensive speaking and listening practice to help students achieve English proficiency in their pursuit of academic excellence at our British International School.
- Fun, Learning & AdventureWinter Camp offers a wide range of exciting and meaningful activities designed to help children grow, learn, and have fun. Campers will take part in engaging skill-building sessions, creative and interesting club lessons, plenty of active playtime, and unforgettable shared moments with friends. A perfect balance of enjoyment and development awaits all participants!
- Convenient time and placeThe summer camp will be held at our first-rate Thames British School Mokotow Primary Campus. It is a detached building situated in a pleasant location right next to a park (Pole Mokotowskie).

Monday to Friday, 9:00-15:00. - Small and relevant groupsWe ensure groups remain small as this helps us to identify individual needs, tailor instruction, and maximise learning. All groups will be organised according to their level of English and age.

Course structure
Lessons will be held Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00. Each day encompasses three lessons of intensive English organised by language skill: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Other lessons focus on a wide range of fun and educational activities, such as hands-on workshops, sporting activities, arts and crafts, story-telling sessions, and playtime. -
Activities
- Variety of sporting activities under the guidance of experienced teachers
- Our professionally-led workshops will challenge campers' creativity and critical thinking through activities such as arts and crafts.
- Embark on exciting adventures fostering teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
- Traditional storytelling sessions, sing-alongs, and roasted marshmallows, creating unforgettable memories and friendships.

- Our dedicated and enthusiastic team of camp counsellors will ensure the safety and well-being of every camper, providing support, guidance, and supervision during the camp.
- In case of extreme weather, we have a range of indoor activities planned, including board games, movie screenings, talent shows, and more.
- An integral part of our camp experience is exploring world cultures. Cultural activities, such as learning about fascinating winter traditions, stories, and legends from around the world.

Oxford/Cambridge English programme
Our courses are based on the Oxford and Cambridge English Language Learning Curriculum and are designed to empower learners to communicate confidently and effectively. -
Group size and age of students
Offline lessons (on-campus) in groups of up to 14 students. We ensure groups remain small as this helps us to identify individual needs, tailor instruction, and maximise learning.
We accept children aged 3 to 13. Groups will be divided accordingly. -

Our Mokotow campus is located within walking distance of Metro Pole Mokotowskie. It is a detached building situated in a pleasant location right next to a park. It can be easily reached from Old Mokotów, Wyględów, Wierzbno and other areas in and around Mokotów.
